ABOUT

Matt Calvetti is a Pittsburgh based musician, actor, producer, audio engineer, recording enthusiast, artist, hockey fan, and lover of puns.

He has played and recorded music for over thirty years and has been involved with theater for almost as long. 

His current musical projects include The New Mingle, The Westsylvanians, CATMALVET, and also recording and performing solo or in a trio/quartet format.

He has served as Music Director for Pittsburgh Shakespeare in the Parks for several productions including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Cleopatra and Antony, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged, and Twelfth Night.

THEATRE

Matt graduated with a BA in Theater Performance (Cum Laude) from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He has appeared with City Theater, Unseam’d Shakespeare Company, Pittsburgh Shakespeare in the Parks, The Upstairs Theater, Pittsburgh New Works Festival, University of Pittsburgh Studio Theater, Carlow College, Allegheny Highlands Regional Theater, and Summer Theater-by-the-Grove at IUP, among others.
